FACELESSFORGE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FacelessForge ("FacelessForge", "we", "us" or "the app") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our web application. FacelessForge is an AI video-production studio that helps a content creator generate faceless True Crime videos (script, voiceover, images, thumbnail and a rendered MP4) and, optionally, upload those videos to their own YouTube channel. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Project content you create: the topics, prompts, scripts, generated audio (voiceover), generated images, thumbnails and rendered video files you produce in the app, together with related metadata such as titles, descriptions, tags and scheduling times.

Google account authorization (only if you connect YouTube): when you click "Connect YouTube" and grant consent, Google issues us OAuth access and refresh tokens. We store these tokens so we can perform the actions you request. We never receive or store your Google password.

Basic channel information: after you connect, we read your YouTube channel's name and ID solely to display which channel is linked in the app.

Technical/log data: standard server logs (such as timestamps and error messages) generated while operating the service.

2. How we use your information

We use project content to provide the core features of the app (generating and rendering your videos). We use the Google/YouTube authorization exclusively to: upload the specific videos you choose to publish to your own channel; set each video's title, description, tags, category, privacy status and scheduled publish time; set the thumbnail you generated; and display your connected channel name. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features you invoke.

3. Google API Services Limited Use disclosure

FacelessForge's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum scopes needed (youtube.upload to upload and manage videos you create, and youtube.readonly to show your connected channel name).

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data. We share data only with: (a) AI service providers strictly necessary to fulfil the generation you request (text generation, text-to-speech, and image generation), which process the submitted prompts only to return the requested output; and (b) Google/YouTube, when you explicitly upload a video, to publish it to your channel. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data storage & security

Your projects and generated media are stored in our application database and object storage. Google OAuth tokens are stored server-side and used only to make authorized API calls on your behalf. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention & your choices

Project content is retained until you delete it in the app. You can revoke FacelessForge's access to your YouTube account at any time by clicking Disconnect in the app, or from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we delete the stored OAuth tokens. You may request deletion of your project data by contacting us.

7. Cookies & analytics

The app uses only the storage necessary to operate. We do not use your Google user data for advertising cookies.

8. Children's privacy

FacelessForge is intended for adult content creators and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

Your information may be processed on servers located in other countries. By using the app you consent to such processing consistent with this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact us

For any question or request regarding this policy or your data, contact the app owner at the support email address shown on our Google OAuth consent screen.
